| The splattering rain outside is a godsend and a perfect complement to the enjoyment of my first mailed issue of Newsweek, which I very much need at this point, at home. Other than that, life's been like a dull and dreaded textbook of 'O' Level Physics. I have finally, but reluctantly, played my trump card. Right now half of my fate lies outside my own hands, and I'm not very certain how things will turn out. Again, all I can do is to wait and see. But well at least for the time being I am not lacking of that motivation and meaning to keep moving forward. I have the LNAT to take in a few days, medical appointments to attend in a few weeks and university applications to make (though thinking about the personal statement and academic reference kinda makes me sick). Preparations are in place and hopefully I'll perform well for all of them. Of course there's also the Deepavali holiday. And I'm happy because these little things are what's keeping me going even though it's just a temporary measure to break that painful monotony of being in that wretched place. |
