| There are three types of soldiers. One, the impressionable and gung-ho who shallowly believes in the perceived prestige of being able to climb up artificial ranks in the army. This type is likely to sacrifice his values and beliefs, if any in the first place, for money and stature. Two, the cannot-be-bothered-and-would-just-like-to-get-it-over-and-done-with kind. This type simply carries out his most basic duties, doesn't volunteer to do more but doesn't argue or get into trouble either. Three, the evaders who will seek all ways to, through medical or other means, shirk as many kinds of duties as possible. This type either has strong personal values and beliefs which the army goes against, or is simply a coward who fears tough work. Me? I'm not a soldier. I'm a conscript. With no sense of purpose.
